MR-8 - THE COMPACT EMERGENCY RATION

This balanced emergency food contains high-quality proteins, fats, and carbohydrates, boosted with sugar for instant enegry.

MR-8 Compact Food is compressed into tablets of approx. 28.8 g. Each unit, (230 g net), contains 8 tablets packed in 4 bars with grease-proof paper. The 4 bars are packed under vacuum in air- and water-tight alu-foil bag.

The bag is protected by a water-repellent cardboard box. MR-8 Compact Food contains no animal fats or meat.

Especially formulated for direct consumption, but also suited for use as a drink or porridge with liquids added, or for sprinkling over less nourishing foods.  Ideal for injured combatants.

This ration is very similar to our MR-8 ration but with a more focus on taste.  Adding dried fruits has made it very popular product, and is today being used in everything from extreme expeditions to short hiking and ski trips.  Most orders from the military comes from the airforce units.
