LIFE-SIZED 3-D FOAM TARGETS
Designed and manufactured
in repairable foam to provide realistic, low cost, humanoid
shoot/no shoot scenarios.
Bendable forearms, hands and fingers to grip objects. Upper arm swivels and head
rotates
in socket.
Torso height is designed for sitting
adequately into motor vehicles, aircraft seats, furniture etc.
-Male/female, different nationalities
-Spare parts: Head (many "models"), arms (left or right), torso
-Available objects: HKMP5, 9mm Browning, Hammer, Knife, Radio, Baseball Bat, Axe
Arms
The arms are a push fit onto the torso.
Arms bending/twisting can be done from just above the elbow down to the fingers,
the
upper arm will not twist as the insert is solid and can only rotate about
the shoulder
joint.
Dressing
Dressing can be easily achieved especially if the arms are inserted into the
sleeves
first and then applied to the torso.
Plastic drain pipe can be inserted into holes provided for legs and trousers
then fastened
around torso waist. Also in torso base is a square central hole for use in other
applications.
Decoration
The heads can be altered visually by use of
felt tip pens to put on moustaches, scars etc.
and aslo earrings can be inserted into the ear lobes.
Nominated female arms can have the fingernails "paintes" with red felt tip pen
to add extra
realism if required.
Scoring
The foam torso will withstand woodscrews or self tappers which
can be used to affix a piece
of card board onto the back of the target to cover your designated "kill zones"
and as the
bullet passes through the foam and cardboard it will be able to be scored and
patched.
Similarly thin aluminium sheet can be affixed and a hit sensor attached if
required.
Knock-Down
To use the targets in a "knock-down" or reactive scenario, it's advisable to
dress the
3-D Foam Target in your standard issue body armour, which will allow the target
to fall
over upon bullet impact to the body armour.
Repairing
Bullet holes need to be repaired once they enlarge to about fist
size by fixer repair foam.
