REVISION SAWFLY® MILITARY EYEWEAR SYSTEM
The Revision Sawfly U.S. Military Eyewear System provides
ballistic eye protection in a sized spectacle (regular and large).
The Sawfly is a single lens system that provides ballistic fragment protection;
extensive field of view; and
maximum air
ventilation to prevent fogging; fits the face closely and comfortably;
allows for easy lens interchangeability; can accommodate
an optional prescription (Rx) insert (Rx insert is also compatible with the
Desert Locust Goggle); has adjustable arms and
retention strap for proper/ secure fit; is chemical resistant, weighs only 1
ounce; compatible with NV equipment and helmets.
The frame, constructed from high impact Nylon, is designed to allow maximum
field of view for both sizes. The spectacle
meets all ANSI Z87.1-2003 optical performance and protective requirements and MIL-PRF-31013
Vo ballistic requirements.
The system comes with 2
polycarbonate lenses (smoke/ clear). The interchangeable, 2.4 mm thick
polycarbonate lenses are
optically correct, distortion
free, have scratch-resistant coating on both sides, give 100% UVA/B/C
protection, and lock
securely into the frame.
