UCM
Un-Cooled Module“ (UCM) is a miniaturized high-performance thermal imager
for real-time imagery
in the spectral region between 7-14µm (Long-Wave-Infra-Red, LWIR).

UCM employs the latest uncooled microbolometer technology and can be used either
stand-alone
or in multi-sensor systems.
Optics and housing can be customized to fit application.
UCM uses latest uncooled detector technology and offers a tempe¬rature
sensitivity (NETD) of better
than 70 mK (0.07°C) over an area of 384 x 288 or 640 x 480 pixel. The extremely
lightweight imager
offers excellent image quality at very compact dimensions, low power consumtion,
at affordable price.
UCM can be operated either stand-alone or integrated into multi-sen¬sor systems.
Startup-time is
<2 seconds. The imager provides many useful software features, e.g. color
palettes, and enables
communica¬tion with at least 3 additional devices (e.g. CCD, LRF, DMC). The
device can be easily
controlled by the user via On-Screen Display (OSD), Graphical User Interface (GUI)
or external interface.
UCM has a rugged, modular design and it’s variable package enables high
flexibility at minimum space.
It provides analog and 8-bit digital video output. UCM is able of capturing and
saving >100 images incl.
date and time.
